Modernized Climate Information and Early Warning Systems (M-CLIMES) project

The project aims to scale up the use of modernized early warning systems and climate information across 21 of the country’s 28 districts. The duration of the project is six years and is being implemented in partnership with Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DoDMA), Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services (DCCMS), Department of Water Resources (DWR), Department of Fisheries and National Smallholder Farmers Association of Malawi (NASFAM). 

DAES is responsible for implementing some of the activities under output 2 of the project which aims at developing and disseminating products and platforms for climate-related information/services for vulnerable communities and livelihoods.
